Ristorante Gemelli is the natural progression from the family's gourmet food market down the street which has been a staple in Babylon since 1988 and has been a Mecca for fine Italian food on the South Shore. Gemelli Fine Foods and Ristorante Gemelli is family owned and operated.

Ristorante Gemelli opened its door in 1997. It is tastefully decorated in the Mediterranean style with subdued lighting, cream colored walls with sea foam green and brick accents, and atrium with high ceilings and gracefully draped curtains. Candle lit tables and Italian music softly playing in the background add a romantic touch to this comfortable, airy dining room, one of the prettiest on Long Island. Both the quality of the food and the restaurant's atmosphere combine to ensure that guests have a positive experience.

Ristoante Gemelli has received numerous awards including Rated Excellent by Zagat 2004.
